Hello everyone! I have been dating my girlfriend going on 5 months now. We e-mail each other at work every now and then and I want to keep it interesting instead of the same thing everyday. For example, almost everyday we ask how we are doing and our responses are the same every time. Our responses are...I am doing good. I don't want her to lose interest in me or anything. send a topic that might interest her. a naugthy,funny or romantic matters will work. but don't forget to say i love you.

You have to change from the regular greeting. For example ask 3 questions in the same greeting, ';Hey baby what ya doin? Think about me today? If you did what did you think about? What do you have planned for us this weekend?'; You get the idea you already know how she's doing so ask something you don't know, and ask alot of questions this will break those short answers.
hmm...send her a joke or a funny story......

While my husband ( boyfriend at the time) was overseas we would send each other interesting news stories or other articles we found along with our reaction or other comments. Not only does it spark conversation, but it allows you to learn more about the other person's views, beliefs, interests and even sense of humor. Try fark.com for some good stories. I wouldn't recommend anything inappropriate, as they might monitor her emails at work.
Send her a joke or some funny pictures. I have a friend that sends me the funniest e-mails. I ALWAYS read his first. Girls can always use a laugh, especially at work. You might also want to try sending her an e-card or a sweet poem once in a while.

i have been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for about 4 years and we try to keep it interesting by phone and email. you could tell your girlfriend you cannot wait to be with her... (doing whatever you guys most do) (sitting on the porch.... watching a movie... having dinner together, etc.)


besides, you cannot be ';good'; all the time, tell her like it is. if you were having a rough morning, let her know. or if you woke up thinking about her, let her know! these are the things girls want to hear.... (not necessarily sexual by the way)
