you have a short you can take it to a garage and let them hook it up to a computer but sometimes that wont help do you have a power antenna on your car if you do try unhooking itMy car battery dies when i dont use my car for a day, battery is brand new. any advice on what it might be.?
TRY ALTERNATOR
your alternator or generator, depending on year, make , and model of car, recharges the battery while the engine is running. So if you are not leaving anything on, then perhaps you can take it to a mechanic and have them run a diagnostic on the car, and start there.My car battery dies when i dont use my car for a day, battery is brand new. any advice on what it might be.?
make sure the leads to the battery terminals are tight loose fitting will cause a battery drain i had this problem a while ago,
i found it by luck when i touched the lead and it spun on the battery terminal negative pole
Sounds like you have a power drain... check all lights, anything that can pull power, like the light in glove box, light in trunk, etc. Most likely you will find the problem.
It is possible your battery is bad but I would doubt it.
make sure nothing has been left switched on, on the car,that could be draining it,other than that,take it back for a new one,as it should hold its charge for quite a while.
sounds like a parasitic drain.
need a vom meter to determine where it's at
defo alternator that re charges batt, if not working u souly working off batt.....
how good is your alternator?
