I am getting Botox between my eyes to help with frown lines. Any advice?

Has anyone had it done and if so, is there any personal advice you can give?

Did it hurt afterwards, a lot?

I get botox for migraines and gotten it done for about 5 years. My first piece of advice would be to go somewhere very reputable. The last thing you need is to have a toxin injected into your face by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Try checking out local plastic surgeon's offices - they will usually have a skin care clinic with nurses who are trained in how to properly administer injectables and fillers.

My second piece of advice is to ice the area right before you have it injected. Call ahead to see if they will have ice on hand - if not, bring your own. It helps a lot (and I swear by it!).

Third thing - relax =) It doesn't take very long and the pain is very minimal. Don't psych yourself out about it.

After, you may notice a bit of redness or swelling around the area that was injected, but this goes away relatively quickly. Good luck to you!I am getting Botox between my eyes to help with frown lines. Any advice?
It doesn't hurt too bad. My only advice would be to go to someone qualified and to not go to a cheap provider who may overdilute the botox.
My advice is to love yourself for who you are, frown lines and all. Take that money that would have been spent on your low self esteem issues and donate it to a child who is hungry or homeless or a child who needs medicine but their parents can't afford it, or something.

God made you perfect, by getting this done you will be telling God that His work is less than beautiful when it's not.
