I am confused with my fiance he cant seem to make up his mind, advice?

Ok this morning my fiance did not want to marry me, he said he was really scared and confused. Now he wants to marry me i am ready to scream.Me and my fiance have a 3 year old son together, and he came crying to me tonight tell me how stupid he was to have doubts in his mind. And so i guess the wedding is back on, the wedding is planned for friday. How can i calm my fiance down and calm his fears?I am confused with my fiance he cant seem to make up his mind, advice?
It is normal how your fiancee is reacting. It is just the wedding jitters .

Just reassure him that it will be ok.That nothing is going to change between the two of you.I am assuming the two of you live together because you share a child ?

Tell him it will be the same as it always has but now you guys are just making your relationship more committing because you are getting married.I am confused with my fiance he cant seem to make up his mind, advice?
Hmmm ... I don't really believe in ';cold feet';. The week of the wedding (and really, all the time after you propose) you should know for certain that this is the person you want to spend your life with. If he has a moment where he confesses to you that he isn't sure, you should take it seriously. The fact that he told you is a red flag - if he was just a little nervous about the big day, he would have kept it to himself rather than scaring the hell out of you right before the wedding. Call it off for now and get some counseling. If not, you are running the risk of a divorce in the next few years.
Do you truly love each other or are you getting married because of the 3 year old son? that's the magic question here. This means that if he is scared and confused than what have the two of you been doing the last 3 years other than making a baby. If this is truly going to be right for the three of you because we are not just talking about the two of you . Than he needs to verbalize his fears to you so that you may be able to answer those questions and set his mind at ease and therefore yours will be taken care also. good Luck and God Bless
It sounds like you have 2 options.

    1. Call off the wedding now. Get into counseling and see if you guys can figure out where the problem lies. Once you have sorted through your feelings, either split, put the wedding on hold, or go ahead and get married.

    2. Get married with your fingers crossed that he won't have another breakdown after the wedding. I still think that counseling is in order to try and address the fears he is having. Nip them in the bud before they turn into major issues.
It sounds like your fiance might just be having some cold feet since your wedding is so close now. It is perfectly normal to have doubts before you get married.

I would set your fiance down and have a heart to heart. Ask him what he is scared of. Maybe him voicing his concerns will help me realize that they are just some last minute jitters. I know that this helped me when I was getting ready to get married.
he's getting cold feet. Every couple gets nervous when wedding time closes in. Tell him if this is what he really wants, then to stop being in denial. I think he really wants to marry you, he's just nervous like all men are.
Totally normal so close to the wedding. Just tell him that he loves you and you love him and this is the right thing. Tell him to calm down. This is the right thing. Good luck!
it is normal for men to be scared before the big day. just encourage him, don't talk too much and don't try to argue. everything will be fine. good luck!
My wedding is on friday too! Have a preacher you can talk too? Or a counselor? I know its last minute but see if you can schedule an appointment. It ';zenned'; me out thats for sure.
just ask him whats he scared about and tell him everything is going to be alright and reassure him that your going to be there for him through thick and thin
meet with his parents your parents the minister, someone in authority who can calm his issues.
he probably just has cold feet and is nervous

Can I use a galvanised tank for stripping furniture with caustic soda lye? Your advice is appreciated BILL?

I have a mild steel tank already and I would like to galvanise it to stop it from rusting. My worry is whether the caustic soda or lye would react with the galvanised surface which is I think zinc?

Any advice on stripping furniture in a caustic tank would be appreciated.

Thanks!!Can I use a galvanised tank for stripping furniture with caustic soda lye? Your advice is appreciated BILL?
Please forget the plastic tank,if you could find one big enough it would cost a fortune.Best and only way is to send the furniture away ton a pro. By the time you have had your tank galvanised and the cost of that + the cost of any other materials i think you could have gone out and bought some new furniture.sit back relax and let some one else do the dirty work. Can I use a galvanised tank for stripping furniture with caustic soda lye? Your advice is appreciated BILL?
The lye won't hurt the zinc, but they often dissolve aluminum in the zinc to give a brighter looking finish. Lye will allow water to react with the aluminum, oxidizing it to a powder.
no, youre bettter off with a plastic tank, caustic soda is alkaline, it eats aluminimum but dont know about zinc. but plastic is cheaper... and it wont damage the stuff when you bang it against the sides or scrape an edge
Galvanising an existing tank isn't easy. You have to dip the whole thing into a tank of liquid zinc and make sure all the surfaces get covered without any air bubbles. Not straightforward when everything is hot enough to melt zinc metal. Its also quite expensive. Large plastic tanks are available either new or second hand - often supplied to farms etc.

Fix the ones you can, come to terms with the ones you can't! You are human - everyone makes xx ups regularly - they just don't always admit to them!!!Any advice to how i can be more philosophical with the **** ups Ive made recently, I'm finding it really?
Do what you can to make things better, but above all, AVOID BEATING YOURSELF UP. What's done is done, and yes, you're right, what will be, will be. No need to add to it by being too hard on yourself. Too many people in this world would be eager to bring you down when you're out and add a kick in the gut. You don't need to be one of those people. Move on, and forgive yourself. That's how you learn. Keep your head up, dude. Trust. ';-)
Being philosophical is looking back on what youve done and saying to yourself';i did that wrong or did that right';and learning from the right decision or wrong decision.

So basically you put it down to experience, and knowing your inner self.

You cant fix some things in life, but you can prevent it happening again.

Nope. There's some days, I think, where people just can't be bothered to *read* anything longer than one line. I am buying a puppy from a breeder & the 1 I picked out died from heart worms, any advice on buying the runt?

The breed is an elkhound. The litter consisted of a 2 females and a male, I was going to purchase the male. The only one available now is the runt.I am buying a puppy from a breeder %26amp; the 1 I picked out died from heart worms, any advice on buying the runt?
My advice is don't buy it. If the one had heart worms there is a good chance this one does too. Please, please before buying a dog from a breeder make sure the breeder is a responsible breeder, not a BYB.

    This from e-how:

Once you have decided on the breed you are looking for, visit the internet and find the NATIONAL BREED CLUB for your breed. Review all the information about the breed and find the web pages or phone contacts of breeders that are listed there. National breed clubs almost always have certain standards and ethics quides for any breeders which are listed on their pages.

Step2Prepare a questionnaire of questions you want to ask the breeder. This is a good one:

What health guarantees do you have?

Can you give me a vet reference?

Can I visit your kennel and if so, when?

How long have you been breeding?

Do you enter your own dogs in AKC events?

Can you send me a sample copy of your contract?

Do you sell your litters to pet stores or brokers?

(there is NO responsible breeder that will sell to a broker or a pet store, since it is too difficult to follow through on who is getting your puppy!!)

The LAST question should be ';how much do your puppies cost?'; but it is of course an important question

Step3Do make plans to visit the kennel and while there check the following things:

Are the dogs healthy and happy?

Does the kennel owner know each one by name?

Do the dogs have places to run outside their pens?

Are the pens clean and roomy?

(even if the home is a mess or in an uproar and not very neat, the kennels should be clean and all dogs should have food and fresh water available)

Is the whelping area in the house?

(puppies should be raised INSIDE a home for at least the first four weeks in order to get all the necessary social and physical attention needed in the first few weeks)

Do the sire and the dam act friendly and sociable?

(sometimes the STUD dog may not be available, the female may have been shipped elsewhere for breeding)I am buying a puppy from a breeder %26amp; the 1 I picked out died from heart worms, any advice on buying the runt?
That sounds very fishy! How old are the pups? If they are younger than 6 months old, then the puppy did NOT die from heartworms.

If the mother was infected with heartworms, it could pass on to the puppies but the worms cannot reach maturity and could not be the cause of death. Either way, the pup died, the breeder seems to not be telling the truth here or has neglected basic care that led to the death and you don't want what could possibly be a sick runt.

Do NOT purchase a puppy from these people! Continue researching other elkhound breeders. Make sure the puppy comes with some sort of health guarantee and make sure to take it to the vet for a complete exam. Best of luck to you!!

**the complete life cycle of a heartworm takes 6 months. Puppies should be started on preventative at 8 weeks of age, not 6 months! If you do not have a pup on preventative by the time they are 6 months or older, a test has to be done prior to giving them the heartworm pill. If a dog has heartworms and is given the preventative, it can cause a serious reaction that can KILL the dog. Please, talk with your vet about heartworms and the intestinal worms that most puppies have: roundworms, whipworms, hookworms. All four of these common parasites would be treated for monthly by the heartworm pill. Tapeworms are common as well but are transmitted by fleas and are not treated by the heartworm pill. Not everyone is correct here. Please get the advice of a veterinarian. Good luck!
    WHAT!!!

    The puppy died of heartworms?????????

    Not likely

You don't even test a pup for heartworms until after it is 3 months old. Most don't start a pup on heartworm prevention until after it is 6 months old. (provided it tested negitive at 3 months)

Pups are not born with heartworms, it takes 3 + months for heartworms to mature.

So wrong in so many ways, me thinks you need to find a different breeder

    edit

Heartworm CAN NOT be passed from dog to dog. A mosquito must bite an infected dog, then the mosquito must ';incubate'; the larva for two weeks, and then bite another dog.
The whole litter is infected by them and apparently really badly if one of them's already dead.

That breeder obviously isn't taking proper care of his dogs if he didn't have his ***** checked for heart worms before he bred from her. You should report him to the RSPCA and the Kennel Club. Also post his name on here, then people know not to buy from him.
I would NOT suggest getting from this breeder.

The ';problem'; [unless the dog was over 3 months of age, it wasn't heartworms] could have been avoided with an early check on the dogs, as well as an over-all checkup.

I do hope you researched plenty before deciding on the breed.
How old was the pup that died from heart worms? Did a vet give heart worms as the cause of death? Unusual for a very young pup to die of heart worms. Pup could have died of distemper or garidia and the breeder just doesn't want to tell you. I would definately pass on this breeders dogs.
If there were only 3 thats not too good, average is like 6-8. I'd maybe look elsewhere. My dog was the runt and is now kind of big for her age lol she was fine, but if one died, thats not too good. Sorry but I'd move onwards.
I wouldn't reccomend buying it, I'd call animal police on the ***** actually. If one already died from heartworms, why buy the dog if it may die too?
Do not buy from this breeder, he let the puppy die of heart worms which could be avoided if they were properly taken care of. Do some more research and find a better breeder.
dont buy any more from that breeder dont get them from any breeder they come frrom puppy mills.if the other one died dont buy anymore from this guy until u have proof from a vet saying he is complaetly healthy.good luck
Do not buy from this breeder.

Wait awhile and research a new breeder.

If this dog died the others could be sick too.

    sorry about this
I wouldnt buy from him at all, heartworms can be passed from dog to dog and he apparently isnt taking good care of his dogs. 3 is a very small litter for an elkhound.id look elsewhere.
I'd run FAST. Anyone who breeds dogs that die from heart worms is not someone you want to get a dog from. Go to your local animal shelter and adopt a homeless dog.
a pup dieing should be a red flag that the breeders neglecting the animals do not buy a pup from that breeder.
since the one you had picked out died, why would you want to take a chance on the runt? run away from this ';breeder'; sounds like her dogs are in lousy shape!
TAKE IT TO THE VET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?its probably going to have heartworms sometime or another.
Do not purchase any dog from this breeder. If one puppy had heartworms the others will too.
Don't buy any dogs from that breeder go to a animal shelter to get a dog.
I have always gone for the runt in a litter because they are really the smart ones of the litter and real fighters for life.

They also are easier to train. That is just my opinion.

My Alsation is having puppies and i need some advice?

I need to find out what will happen-if there are any signs that she is going into labour, if i should keep my other dog away(the father), how long until i can touch the puppies myself, how long the labour roughley take, what happens if she doesnt burst the sacs herself and what signs should i look out for if she is struggling? How can i make it more comfortable for her? Basically i need advice on start to finish, this is my first experience, and i think she may be close to giving birth as i can see and feel the puppies moving and she is quite big.My Alsation is having puppies and i need some advice?
The best advice is to get a vet's phone nukber and keep it handy, to walk you through the whelping if you get in a bind.

Call your vet today, and ask him what to expect, what to have ready, and how to determine is she's ready to whelp. Hopefully, by now your vet will have seen this animal at least 3 times during the pregnancy, and be very aware of it's potential needs. My Alsation is having puppies and i need some advice?
You'll know that she is approaching labor when she starts ';nesting'; (spinning in circles, trying to make her bedding comfortable, digging inside her bed to make it bulkier, etc.)

You can help her by staying with her while she's giving birth. You can help take the sacks off the puppies. Make sure she doesn't harm the first puppy - sometimes dogs, especially first time moms eat their young. Make sure she doesn't ignore the puppies. Push them towards her so that she can lick them clean - that's their way of bonding.
when dealing with newborn puppies so that your scent doesn't get over the puppies you might want to invest in some gloves the latex kind. Stuggling depends what is her breathing like. Look for normal behavior in you dog is she moving around alot or not eating or drinking. The best book to buy is @ PetSmart or Petco called everything you need to know about dogs.

I just got a new job as a server and I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for me?

I've never had a server job before and I'm just looking to see how I can max-out my performance. I start Monday and even though I know they're going to train me I still want to preform better than everyone I work with. I'm a bit ambitious.I just got a new job as a server and I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for me?
Always smile, say have a good day, greet them and answer all questions with an answer, even if you don't know it find someone who does. Before you take anything away, ask them if they're all done and do not take anything away before everyone is done: completely rude to some people. Stop by often to ask if everything is okay, do they need more to drink, more sauce, etc.

Also try to get to know them. If it's a group of girlfriends, you can say something like ';Girls night out, huh?'; I find the friendliest waiters who go out of their way to please a customer make the most of the jobI just got a new job as a server and I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for me?
Be extremely polite and attentive. Go check on your tables approx 30 seconds after they start eating to ensure everything is ok or if they need anything else. If you see their drinks are running low, fill a new one, bring it over and take the old one away (don't wait for them to ask for a refill). I wouldn't bother them too much but watch their table and take away empty plates, etc when they are done. I'm sure you'll do great.
    Refills.

ITS NORMALI am 28yrs old male unmarried but i can't able to control the sex feeling. Please advice how to control?
You should only be masturbating about three to four times a week three to four times a day is a bit excessive and could carry health consequences such as:

    Fatigue

    Hair loss

    Memory loss

    Blurred vision

    Groin/testicular pain

    and semenal leakage

To cut back try cutting stimulants out of your diet such as caffeine, nicotine, etc. Also try to stay away from spicy food.

Identify what triggers you to masturbate make a list and eliminate the triggers if you can't eliminate come up with some other methods to avoid them or no longer make them as issue.

You won't get HIV from masturbating to often.

The only problem I can see with your excessive masturbation is premature ejaculation.
though it is normal to have sex feelings and desire a person of the opposite sex, and there is no harm in masterbating, yet you should either find a woman and have actual sex. Else keep yourself busy and try to come out of sex thughts.
you cannot get aids by masterbating, rest assured that you will not have any problems once you get married .

  • I am a middle-aged female who wants to join the army. Can you give me some advice?

I really wanted to be a cop or firefighter, but their qualifying standards are too tough. Also, cops and firefighters don't get the great benefits that military people do, like free health care, housing, discounts at the PX, job placement assistance, and various other preferential treatment. What do I need to do to become an army of one? Note: I am in very good shape for my age, and psychologically sound.I am a middle-aged female who wants to join the army. Can you give me some advice?
Talk to your local recruiter about enlisting. Make sure you make a list of questions to ask them so that you dont forget anything. There were a few older males and females that I trained with. You can do it as long as you want to. Once you start talking to a recruiter they will set you up to take the ASVAB and a physical. At the end of both of those you sign your paperwork and get sworn in. You dont have to rush anything once you contact a recruiter either, take your time if you want. Good luck to you!I am a middle-aged female who wants to join the army. Can you give me some advice?
I am assuming you are American.

In Canada, you can join the military as long as you can complete your contract (3 or 5 years, depending on the trade) before the Compulsory Retirement Age (CRA) of 55. This age is also likely being moved to 60.

I do know of a 51 year old grandmother that joined. There was a mention of her doing basic training, but I do not know what happened afterward.

I do not know if this is allowed in the US. We have no age discrimination here, so they cannot deny someone due to age, except at the CRA. However, there must be some in the US who have the same idea as you - best to talk to a recruiter, and ask questions.
be in good shape, atleast smart enough to pass asvab. if you are a single mother u cant get in unless u sign off your parental rights to someone else, (it might be dif. now but idk). second the benifits arent that great, and i find the px more expensive than walmart and the food lion. anyways, pick out a few carrers that interest you, take the practice asvab, and continue to stay in shape, and dont let them tell you what you want to do jobwise, i personally recommend being a mechanic, u dont get that dirty, but hours are long and its moderate work, but it is really fun in a motorpool!!!
Then you can't join the Army because

their requirements are a whole lot tougher...

Boot camp's tough for everyone, doesn't matter who you are.

You'll be ahead of the game if you can do the required sit-ups,push-ups, and run before you get to boot camp though.
congress set a maximum age limit of 42, and allows the US armed services to set their own limits

    US Army 42

    US Navy 34

    US Air force 27

but as far as joining the service, you need to have a service minded mindset and joining because you will get a discount at the PX is kind of lame....
As long as you can pass the physical, weight standards, ASVAB, 42 years old or under, and you dont have to bad of a criminal back ground you will be good to go.
what do you mean middle age? i think the oldest you can be is 42 for the army. isn't middle age like 50?

These days I've been more aware of my heartbeat than usual, my heart is beating either very quickly or irregularly, I'm feeling extremely tired and weak and I can't bring myself to do very much during the day. I'm having frequent chest pains or discomfort and I feel very light and occasionally come close to dizziness. After the results of my latest blood test about two months ago I was told that I have severe iron deficiency. Could there be any other reason for these symptoms?I'm anaemic and I feel my condition is worsening, I was wondering if I could get any advice about what to do?
Well, if you are anaemic, then you should eat things high in iron, e.g. red meat, spinach etc... I hate red meat, so I ate a lot of things with spinach, like pasta, salads, Punjabi naan bread (from the Indian restaurant I work at.. mmmmmmm) and stuff like that.

Hope this helps. :)I'm anaemic and I feel my condition is worsening, I was wondering if I could get any advice about what to do?
You really need to see your doctor. I am also anaemic and have just started a course of iron injections. Warning - you end up looking like you have a big bruise on your bottom, but its not really a bruise - its staining from the iron. (it will go away) My doctor told me it is worthless taking iron tablets because they would take months to do any good. Good luck partner!
One thing that you may want to do, if you haven't already, is see a hematologist.

The weakness and fatigue are very common symptoms of anaemia. What should be done is a bone marrow biopsy. The red blood cells, like all other blood cells, are produced in the bone marrow. Once the biopsy has been taken, it will be studied for presence of some cells and behaviors of others. You may need to be given transfusions of red blood cells or given an ESA (erythropoeitic stimulating agent) which builds and boosts red blood cells. (erythrocytes)

Anaemia may be contributing to the irregular heartbeat and chest pain, and it may be anxiety as well. An EKG may need to be ordered to rule out cardiac disorders. Feeling more aware of your heartbeat may be a form of anxiety, and you may want to speak with your doctor about this as well. Two months is a long time to go without treatment of your anaemia. I recommend that you see your primary care provider as soon as possible and request to be referred to a hematologist.

    Good luck!

This is my first time doing my own garden, advice please!?

I want to put down the red bark/mulch type stuff because i don't have as much time as i should for weeding, and it matches the color of my house, what plants can I plant with this? Can I still plant flowers? Do I have to put down fertilizer with the plants first (i am digging up and re-doing a pre-existing garden) and then cover it with mulch? This is my first time doing my own garden, advice please!?
You can plant just about anything with much, so long as the body of the plant is big enough that it can rise above the much bed. Fertilizer may or may not be needed, but that is more dependent upon your existing soil characteristics than on the much. Mulch will reduce evaporation and thereby decrease the amount of water needed for irrigation.

I stay away from pine mulch in most cases because it will lower the pH of the soil, unless I am using it on plants that prefer more acidic soil. This is my first time doing my own garden, advice please!?
My advise is to go to the library and get books on gardening. You can see many different styles and ways of doing a neat garden. I like to put down a bunch of newspapers and dig holes where I'm going to plant. Then add the mulch. This cuts down on weeds even more. It would be to your advantage to check out the different plants and how much sun each needs and their heights so it looks organized.
You also need to be aware of what plants do well in full sun, what do well in partial sun and what plants need shade.

You also need to be aware of what does well in your area. Many times nurseries will have plants that look great but just aren't suited for your climate.

Also be aware of which plants are annuals, they only live for one season. An perennials, they come back every year.
Good question. I have bark mulch and i use the red cedar kind. it is very nice. you don't have to put fertilizer down if you don't want to but it might help your plants with a little more nutrients. you might also want to go and buy the black plastic that you lay down first to stop the weeds from coming up. then as you plant you cut a small hole in the plastic just big enough to plant you flowers or W.H.Y . Then once everything is planted make sure you have enough bark mulch to cover your flower beds and sprinkle it around your flowers/ plants so as not to damage them and then you can add bigger quantities in the open areas. then even it all out and then presto. you are done. you can plant lots of different plants in your flower beds while using bark mulch. Rhodo's, hydrangea, geraniums, primulas, pansies, roses etc. best wishes on your first garden.
. what i did was broke up the ground then i would lay out my fertilizer then plant my flowers any the i wanted and then i went to my father n laws ad got some cedar shaving and dust and layed it out it is very pretty and professional looking after wards.. cheep and easy. it works real good on weeds it smuthers them

You are going to need to loose the pet.

Try Foster City if you have a decent income, South San Francisco (a seperate city the SF) or Burlingame if not. Mountain View is not too bad, but still a commute.

Can anyone give me advice how to be slim?

drink more water(2-3 litres per day)

eat smaller portions and have your heaviest meal at lunch (try eating salad or home-made soup for dinner)

exercise for at least 20 mins a day for a month or so and slowly work yourself up to 40 mins a day.

You could snack on fruit and low fat yoghurts in between meals (melon is good for when you are in the mood for something sweet, i keep slices wrapped in cellophane in the fridge)Can anyone give me advice how to be slim?
    exersize 30 minuets a day

eat only 1 snack a day

eat atleast 4 fruits a day *to help you forget about missing the snacks*

    drink only water

write all the snacks you eat and how long you exersize down

REWARD YOURSELF: with something thats not food like a new cd.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!Can anyone give me advice how to be slim?
throw your fridge and freezer in the skip. cook all your food fresh and eat less. don't keep thinking about all the time
Eat less and do more sports. That's the only way.
good diet and excerise the best way and try to stick 2 it it will be hard. its hard trust me.
Find out your ideal energy amount. Make sure your meals provide that and have the necessary vitamins and minerals etc - protein and so on - and the weight will slowly drop off.
if you are really struggling I'd recommend joining a slimming club like WeightWatchers. I've been a member for 8 months and I've lost 5st. Teaches you good eating habits and encourages you to exercise.
make more sex with your husband
Yes, i suggest u hav a food pyramid formatted 4 ur weight/height/and level of physical activity

once u hav this u will be able 2 know how much servings and calories u will need per day

making it less likely that u will overeat and consume excess calories ( which becomes stored as fat)

Please go 2 the link www.mypyramid.com.....all u hav 2 do is type ur age, sex and phsical activity and a food pyramid is tabulated 4 u

plus u get 2 see what each serving size (ex, 1 cup of oats) is like

This combined with exercise or some sort of physical activ u should hav no prob maitaining ur weight
Get off your butt and out from behind the computer. Get some exercise and lay off of fatty foods. It really is that simple.
see the next time you are looking at a really tasty juicy looking peice if food, don't ****** eat it. Look the other way, simple as...

I don't believe in all this psychobaable crap, you want to be thin eat less.
eat healthily and have plenty of exercise.

    its the only way.
    Food = Fuel

eat small meals at regular intervals

if you go long periods without and food then your next meal will be stored as fat

5 %26lt;small%26gt; meals a day is perfectly ok as long as you do not eat more energy as you use up

you will know that with a tape measure
firstly, starving yourself, exercising too much and having a dramatic change to your routine is not a good start. NO DIETS! firstly make sure you drink atleast 1.5L of water a day thats about 6glasses of water, make sure you drink a glass or 2 of milk a day. 3times a week do any phsyical activies that you enjoy...you need motivation so see if you can get a buddy or set a goal. how much weight do you want to lose? start off with sumthing small though eh, any questions or advice needed just contact me :-P
    Eat less and exercise
    he can....
join weight watchers i did i lost 3 stone they help you and support u but u have to be the one with the will power to do it!
HI THERE I WILL RECOMMENDED EATING SMALL PORTION OF FOOD REGULARLY,THIS HELPS TO SPEED UP YOUR METABOLISM.....TRY EATING FOOD LIKE BRAN AND OATS IN THE MORNING THIS HELPS TO KEEP HUNGER AT BAY....REMEMBER A CRAVING ONLY LAST ABOUT 14 MINUTES SO TRY DRINKING WATER OR CHEWING GUM TO HELP COMBAT THE CRAVING......GO FOR LONG WALKS,MAKE SURE TO SET REALISTIC GOALS......GOOD LUCK

  • I've been seriously considering trying a gluten free diet and would like to know if anyone has advice one way?

or the other about doing so. Also What suppliments will I need to stay health after cutting glutens? (vitamins?)

Thank You for your inputI've been seriously considering trying a gluten free diet and would like to know if anyone has advice one way?
Going gluten-free can be very healthy if you do it right. Fresh fruits and veggies are gluten-free naturally so eat as many of those as you'd like. Unprocessed meats are also gluten-free.

If you are eating plenty of the fruits and veggies, you don't need a vitamin but may choose to take one to make up for all the things your body hasn't been absorbing for years. Just make sure the vitamin is gluten-free. Many manufacturers list the gluten status on the bottle or on their web-site.

The only ';supplement'; you may want to take is a fiber supplement. Again, check the supplement closely to make sure it is gluten-free.

Personally, I would only gluten-free if I had to. I've been on the diet for just over a year because I tested positive for celiac disease through a blood test and biopsy. Going gluten-free is hard because it expensive and limiting. I could never stay motivated to stick with the diet if I didn't have to. It is an all-or-nothing venture to do it right. You can't share a peanut butter jar with someone that spreads it on bread. You can't make gluten-free bread in a bread machine that has held wheat flour. You can't just take a hamburger patty off a bun and eat it. Everything you eat and drink has to be checked to make sure it is ok. You even need to check your chapstick and lipstick. If you can't convince yourself to go all in, don't bother.I've been seriously considering trying a gluten free diet and would like to know if anyone has advice one way?
By all means try the gluten free diet for a few weeks to see if it fixes whats ailing you. If it doesn't work, you haven't lost too much, but if it does, your life could well be transformed.

I always advise anybody to take a good one-a-day multivitamin and mineral combination (look for one with selenium), and a high dose fish oil capsule every day, and in particular when changing your diet, as it takes a while to get used to how to balance it properly. From some comments I've read, some never do!

We have had to move our closing date due to the title being lost. Can anyone give advice on how to find it?

We have had to move our closing date twice due to the fact that the title to the foreclosure we are buying cannot be found. Any help on how we can speed up the process of finding this title? We have had to move our closing date due to the title being lost. Can anyone give advice on how to find it?
That doesn't make sense. The property is held in title by a deed and presumably a mortgage; the trustee will process the foreclosure, so they should have access to that. I would contact the party that is handling the escrow and ask them point blank, what's going on.

There is no need for this to happen. It's the trustee that holds title at the moment before the sale of the foreclosure goes through. We have had to move our closing date due to the title being lost. Can anyone give advice on how to find it?
    Wouldn't the bank hold it?

She should take them as-compliments because that's what they are. If she doesn't want fame than stay out of the public eye. She takes their money! What would be your advice to Bea Arthur if she recieves alot of prank calls from obsessed fans?
Is Bea Arthur a gay thing, like Judy Garland or Bette Midler or Barbara Streisand? All of a sudden I see questions referencing the long-retired Bea Arthur.

Not calling you gay - and not that there's anything wrong with it if you are. But what's with Bea Arthur and the zeitgeist lately? What did I miss?
mr.tburg....YOU need to stop prank calling Bea Aruther. Leave the poor woman alone.

Anybody love someone with OCPD? (not to be confused with OCD) Any advice?

I don't know much about this, but I can say this, no one hates a baby. And if that baby grows up to have OCPD then they are still loved. Is it difficult to love someone who is such a stickler for black and white areas, right and wrong? Sure. But it is difficult to live with most peoples idiosyncrasies. And every person has idiosyncrasies. Learning to love is a lot about learning to adapt to others. Good luck!

I'm am home schooled and i want to go to public school starting my freshmen year. any advice?

Hi i am 13 and i am home schooled. i definitely want to go to public school next year. does anyone have any advice? I'm am home schooled and i want to go to public school starting my freshmen year. any advice?
Dont sit at the upper classmen tables, they WILL shove you in a locker

    Dont flirt with seniors

When people refer you ';Freshmen'; or ';Fresh meat'; dont argue. Dont say ';Well you were a freshmen once'; Yeah, they know. But now they're not, so they dont care.

Upperclassmen might try to sell you ';Elevator passes'; or ';Pool passes';. Dotn buy those. They're probably fake, and you'll get in trouble with teachers

haha, probably not the advice you were looking for, but whatever you're a freshmen so who cares! ;)I'm am home schooled and i want to go to public school starting my freshmen year. any advice?
Don't do it dude too much homework, liberal mean teachers talking down to you like your a baby. Don't loose your freedom, freedom to learn at your own pace. They just punish you for trying to socialize there, socialize on your own time like I do. Home schooling Rocks, and all my friends are jealous.
Public school will be the worst mistake you will ever make, I suggest you continue what you are doing. I know this is not what you want to hear but my experience is one of the reasons I chose to home school my kids.

  • Is it possible to get a car loan with my current credit status? Please Help me with some advice.?

I am 28. There are two defaults on my CR rating, both paid. One of these comes off my file in 60 days. I am currently on 55K, and will move to 62K in the next month, and have been fully employed at the same company for 2 years. Currently No mortgage, No credit card and No loans.

All bills meticulously paid for the last few years, and I have just over 10K saved up in my savings account. Total hits on my CR file by suppliers at the moment is 2.Is my current CR rating terrible, bad or fair?

All i need is a measly 10K loan for a car.

Do I have a chance of getting a loan? And if I do, should I wait until I go to 62K and until one of the defaults comes off my credit file in 60 days to try? I am stressed because this car is a must because of a sudden medical situation, and so I need it. I just don't know where to start. Please help with some info if possible. Thanks in advance. Is it possible to get a car loan with my current credit status? Please Help me with some advice.?
I think you're going to be totally fine. Your interest rate might not be great, but car salesmen will approve just about anyone for vehicle financing. Your situation doesn't even sound that bad; you'd probably be ok to get a 10k loan even from a bank if that wasn't such a slow process. I'd suggest putting 7 or 8k down and keeping the extra 2 or 3k in the bank for a future emergency. The dealership will let you know for sure, but I think you'll find the process pretty easy if you're willing to put 33% down on a 20k car.Is it possible to get a car loan with my current credit status? Report Abuse

the last time I needed to buy a car, my credit wasn't great at all, from the sounds of it, worse than yours... I still got the loan, it was just at a higher interest rate... I did have the option to pay it off early to avoid some of the interest.. but it did happen.

work out a deal with a salesman and then when it's time to pay, then discuss the situation, they'll know where to go to, as they won't want to lose the sale after doing the work to get your interest.
Most likely, yes. I don't sell cars, so can't tell you for sure.

Go to myfico and find out your score. If it's above 550, then you can get your loan. It will depend upon your score how many points you pay, but I don't see you not getting a car. Especially if you want to buy American - they're desperate to sell cars as they're losing market share to foreign autos.
I have the worst credit, %26amp; in way worse shape than you or anyone else can imagine!! But I have had 2 lenders finance me for car loans. Just go look for the car you want and get it!! I know what you're going through, it is almost a defeated feeling. You have nothing to lose, so just believe!!
You should not have a problem getting a loan. If anything go to your bank and get a personal loan. Tell the loan manager what you need and what for, I don't think this will be an issue. They will see the money you have saved and that any bad credit has been paid. You will probably get a better interest rate through your own bank also. Good luck, I hope I helped you.
First, it would help to know how your score is broken down.

Well, based on what you've said so far, paying the defaults will help, and waiting for one of them to come off your record will really help because that negative credit history on that trade line will be gone. Congrats on your promotion, an increase in annual salary never hurts too.

You've got $10K saved up, that's great too. But here's where you may start running into problems. You said that you don't have a mortgage, credit cards, or any loans. Although you're probably paying rent or something like that (which I'll go more into detail shortly) you're not establishing any new credit to offset the defaults that you've had. But this can help

    http://prbc.com/default.php?

PRBC is a national credit bureau that helps people build credit using their non-debt bill payments that aren't reported to the other bureaus. So if you've always paid rent and other bills on time, you deserve credit for that.

    2) It will not hurt you in any way. PRBC is completely voluntary - meaning, you have the choice to sign up. No bills, payments, accounts are tracked without your knowledge - which is very different than the Big 3. You choose which bills to report too - it's totally up to you. Lastly, you never have to do anything with your credit file with PRBC. It will never be shared without your permission.

    3) PRBC creates a separate report and bill payment score. It doesn't report to the Big 3 or fix bad credit with other bureaus, but showing that you pay your bills on time can only help you.

In fact, it is your right under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act to have any creditor review ';any information the applicant may present that tends to indicate that the credit history being considered by the creditor does not accurately reflect the applicant's creditworthiness.'; - http://prbc.com/pub/PRBC_ECOA_Advisory.p鈥?/a>

In my humble opinion, payments for non-debt bills like rent, utilities, cable, phone, daycare, storage units, cell phone, insurance, etc. should count just as much as a credit card bill! And there are many others who feel the same way.

Lenders are making mortgage loans based on PRBC Reports today See this -http://prbc.com/consumers/how/mortgage.p鈥?/a>

PRBC is aggressively exploring opportunities with credit card and auto dealers to make credit decisions based on people signing up with PRBC and showing they pay their bills on time.

I'm currently using the program myself, and I admit that it's worked out well for me, maybe it can work out for you
What totally sucked was the fact that after college I had so much credit card debt that piled up and it was really affecting my credit score. you could leave out the rosemary if you don't want/like it...

Oven-Roasted Potatoes with Bacon and Rosemary

1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

    6 oz bacon, chopped, fried

    1/4 cup olive oil

2 T crumbled dried rosemary or 8 sprigs of fresh rosemary

    1 tsp salt

    pepper to taste

Par boil the potatoes until barely fork tender (still firm), about 15 minutes. Do Not overcook the potatoes. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Drain potatoes and let cool for a few minutes. Yukon Roasted Potatoes with Bacon, Onion and Garlic Recipe

    Ingredients

    4 slices bacon

4 large, about 2 pounds (1 kg) Yukon Gold Potatoes, unpeeled and cut lengthwise into 8 wedges

    2 medium onions, halved

    1 head garlic, peeled

2 Tbsp (30 mL) fresh thyme leaves or 2 tsp dried

1脷2 tsp (2 mL) each salt and pepper

    Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). In a large roasting pan, cook bacon until crisp, about 7 to 8 minutes. Remove bacon; drain on paper towels, crumble and set aside. Pour bacon fat into small bowl (there should be approximately 1/4 cup - if not, add vegetable oil to equal this amount). Place potatoes (skin side down), onions and garlic in roasting pan. Drizzle bacon fat over vegetables. Sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper. Roast for about 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and lightly browned. Adjust seasonings and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

    Yield: 4 servings
    Roasted Potatoes and Bacon

    6 slices bacon

8 medium red potatoes, quartered lengthwise

    4 onions, coarsely chopped

    陆 teaspoon salt

    鈪?teaspoon ground black pepper

Heat oven to 450 degrees F.

Cook bacon on sided cookie sheet, turning once, 15 minutes, or until crisp. Remove from sheet pan and reserve.

Add potatoes to cookie sheet and toss to coat with bacon fat. Cook 15 minutes, add onions and toss to combine.

Cook, turning potatoes once, an additional 45 minutes, or until potatoes are golden brown and onions are tender. Remove to serving dish and crumble reserved bacon on top.
fry the bacon, set aside and let drain on a paper towel.

peel (if you want) your potatoes, then cut them up into chunks. put them in a bowl and pour the bacon grease over them. stir to coat (might be hot). you can also use a little olive if the bacon grease isn't enough to coat the potatoes. this is where you want to season the potatoes also. salt, pepper, and garlic powder are great.

cut or break up the bacon into little pieces, put them in the bowl with the potatoes. you can also add diced onions and stir again.

    preheat the oven to 350.

spread the potatoes onto a baking pan lined with aluminum foil. put in the oven for at least an hour (until the potatoes are soft). stir every 20 - 30 minutes.

  • I am in the process of writing my first book. I am just looking for any advice that may help me.?

I am a lesbian and I am in a 12 year relationship and we have a 5 year old son. My book is a fictional version of my personal story and battles.I am in the process of writing my first book. I am just looking for any advice that may help me.?
Well, goodness, you're going to get a host of advice, probably - all differently, likely.

Writing a book can be fun (I've been published multiple times) but you have to first figure out if you're just doing it for the experience or writing because you'd like it to provide income.

If you'd like some income, keep in mind that publishing a book rarely brings a decent money. Obviously some authors make a lot, but most make none at all, and are lucky to get an advance to pay the rent for a few months.

I think you are better served (and this may not apply in your described situation) if you use the book as a springboard to something else - contracting jobs, speaking engagements, and so forth.

Nevertheless, if you want to write, have fun. You should find a publisher in your genre (I think, given your subject matter, there's a handful of well-known publishers) and approach them.

You can also self-publish. In the ';old days'; this was subsidy publishing - you paid someone to print 1000 copies or whatever and then it was up to you to sell them. Invariably this was harder than it seemed.

Nowadays, however, I'd suggest you check out iUniverse.com. They set you up for self-publishing, but it's on-demand, meaning - no orders, no printing. The only advance money is for setup, and that was about $600 last I looked. You also get - depending on what arrangements you make - an ISBN number, and your book can be ordered through Amazon or Barnes %26amp; Noble. Someone orders it, they print it, otherwise no printing, and it can be as little as one copy per print run.

I've mainly written industry-specific books so I've worked with regular publishers, but if I was doing a novel (which I've considered) I'd give real consideration to going the iUniverse route. You get exposure and royalties, but not a lot of the hassle. However, you have to do a bit more work yourself (like layout, although I think for a fee they'll do that too).

Other than that, as for writing, think about where you want to go with it. Write naturally, for you - don't be pretensious. Some people intricately map out their stories, others just start typing with no idea of where it'll go. You, of course, can write whatever you want, but I'd suggest taking an aspect of your life and chronicling it - you won't run out of material. For instance, you are in a lesbian relationship and you are raising a 5 year old child. How about some background on how that situation evolved (mainly the child, plus how you met your partner) and then do a day to day or week to week chronicling of the challenges faced? He must be close to entering 1st grade if he's not there already. What's your reaction when you show up for Parent/Teacher Conferences? Do his friends (or more likely his friend's parents) find themselves uncomfortable? Perhaps plan on taking 9 months to write it, and go with his first nine months in school, and the challenges you face.

    Good luck!

(on edit: I think the responder above was referring to the responder above him, since my response posted far later). And yes, I'm published, and a former editor and publisher myself.I am in the process of writing my first book. I am just looking for any advice that may help me.?
To be honest, unless you are a celebrity, or have connections in the literary world, your story is not going to be of major interest. Fiction is VERY difficult to sell (I am talking legitimate publishing here, not the on line garbage, vanity publishing that proliferates here on the Web and is NOT REAL publishing in any sense). Publishers have far more material than they can ever use and the markets are getting tighter all the time. Again, unless you are a terrific writer, know an agent or someone else within the publishing field, and can tell a totally fascinating story (or you're a celebrity), then I would think twice about this venture, i.e., spending all the time writing a book only to find there is no market for it. Your personal battles are really not as unique as you might believe, and weaving them into fiction takes an adept writer who really knows how to grab an audience. Can you do this? Also, most publishers no longer accept unsolicited material. Again, I am talking LEGITIMATE publishers that actually pay you for your work. First books rarely make money anyway. I hate to be a downer on this one, but the realities of the legitimate publishing world are quite harsh. The responder above obviously has NO IDEA! I am here to tell you that the chances of your story ever seeing legitimate print are almost nil, again, unless you have something extraordinarily unique to say (and can say it in a way that is enthralling to the average reader). Connections in the industry are almost imperative!
The main thing to think about is not dwelling on the negative. Many of these stories are such downers. Yes it is a struggle to be in a situation like yours, but try to think of where you are now. You sound happy, so focus on the happiness you partner and your son have brought you. It is important to bring in the topics of struggles and such, but you want a reader to walk away from your story feeling positive about their own situation.

    Good Luck
I'm no literary genius or anything and I'm not sure what kind of advise you are looking for, but I am a lesbian who loves to read. The best advise I can think of is to write with your heart and find a good editor. I commend you for keeping your family together for so long, so many of us don't - and I wish you all the luck in the world. PS - don't listen to all of the people who tell you you can't do it - just keep at it...

Professional Advice: What is the best dog food?

i've heard that innova, candiae, natural balance, and nutro are some top brands. Currently I feed my dogs castor and pollex natural ultramix (but it's twice as expensive as natural balance).

What do professional dog trainers and vets feed their dogs?Professional Advice: What is the best dog food?
Well, I like to feed mine Innova EVO because it is all natural, grain free, has no corn or other fillers, is made of human grade ingredients, contains no by product, has no added salt.

I've never heard of Castor and Pollex food before, but looking at the ingredients it looks like a very good food. The only thing that would keep me from buying it for my own dogs is the added salt, but other than that it seems excellent. Some other of the better foods that Petco carries is Natural Balance (which I have fed my dogs) and Solid Gold (which I have fed as well) I'm one of those that likes to alternate between brands and change my dogs food every 6 mo. or so.Professional Advice: What is the best dog food?

If you would be so kind I'd like some advice^^?

You see I'm going into my freshman year of high school the day after tomorrow. I was hoping I could get some advice that might help prepare me :]

I'd appreciate it!If you would be so kind I'd like some advice^^?
    I SURE CAN;

Be polite but almost ignore your friends. focus like a laser on the

subject matter of each class. And listen a bit to the

    administrators.

Harass no one. Tease no one. DO NOT get into any cliques.

NOT yet, anyway. Again, be polite but stay alert to

school; not your buddies--NOT at this time.

Teachers are the boss. Be neither a teacher's pet nor

    a pest.

    listen, take notes.

    go casual. Go easy.

ask questions AWAY from your friends.

after you feel you know that the teacher's want, and the rules,

and you synchronize that with your home life, after1-2 weeks

THEN it is ok to chat with your buddies. It is so hard

to make STRATEGIC MISTAKES now and to correct them

later. If you would be so kind I'd like some advice^^?
:) Freshmen year lol oh gosh its almost like 8th grade overall it'll be a sloppy year till u get the hang of high school..but u urself feel a bit more maturer. There are a lot of bad ppl in high school... bullies and what not... try to stay clear of them if u dont want trouble. First days are fun... u get to talk and get to know the school.... its nothing big but its fun :)

Need advice for purchasing Skull Candy's, are they worth the money?

Thinking of picking some up soon. Firstly, are they compatible with ipod classics? Or are they compatible with any type of ipod? Secondly, are they durable and what is your opinion of the sound quality? Lastly, are there any particular ones that shine above the rest?

Thanks in advance. I have grown weary of the crappy regular ipod headphones.Need advice for purchasing Skull Candy's, are they worth the money?
yes mine are extreme totally worth the moneyNeed advice for purchasing Skull Candy's, are they worth the money?
They're compatible with everything expect the 1st Gen Iphone. They're pretty good but a tad overpriced for what you get. Bite the financial bullet and get the Bose ones.
skull candy suck. get yourself a pair of Altec Lansings.
I have tried the snoop dogg edition , i dont own it but my friend has it , it has amazing bass and sound clarity , they are durable , but then again any medium size head phones of a good brand are. My advice is if you can get a synnheiser or sony at a cheaper price , they provide better sound , especially the HD or Hd bass ones. even TDK is really really good. I bought one for the quarter price of a skull candy and it had almost the same sound quality.

To be honest skull candies are more of a fashion statement , so if you think its worth that much more for something that looks pretty and might go out of fashion in a while ?

Or get regular headphones, which might never run out of fashion ,, well not at least for a long long time.

  • Okay so I really want to lose 100 lbs in 9 months...I really want some advice on what are the best methods?

I know exercise is the key factor and eating the right things...I also want to know like what type of exercises to do and such and such and so on...I really need this lose this weight and i definitely need supportOkay so I really want to lose 100 lbs in 9 months...I really want some advice on what are the best methods?
Exercise is just as vital as food consumption when it comes to losing weight, but the only method that clearly delivered for me was wu-yi tea, it can be seen in the resource box underneath, they have a limited number of free trials remaining, it was highlighted in Fox News and CNN. I lost twenty pounds, it clearly does work!Okay so I really want to lose 100 lbs in 9 months...I really want some advice on what are the best methods?
    Hi

    1. Give yourself some time -- Many people think they can lose 100 pounds in 3 months or less. That is an improbable goal. It will take over 6 months to lose 100 lbs. This is a process with there will be ups and downs and you need to have patience.

    2. Make a firm commitment -- Because it takes a while to lose 100 pounds, you need to make a firm commitment to yourself that you will not stop in the middle of the process until you've reached your weight loss goal. Just keep reminding yourself that you can do it. It all depends on your will power.

    3. Get a more active lifestyle -- Every little thing you can do to become more active will help you to burn more calories and lose more fat. If you start climbing stairs instead of taking elevators, or decide to walk to the supermarket instead of driving there, you'll burn more and more fat gradually. These little things add up to a lot of pounds.

    4. Start exercising -- A little exercise can go along way to getting you slimmer and healthier. You don't need to go overboard: taking a 40--60 minute walk 3--4 times a week will get you much closer to your 100 pound weight loss goal. Add to that some strength exercises you can do at home with 2-3 pounds dumbbells, and you will gradually lose more and more pounds. You will also start to feel healthier.

    5. Stop doing the things which make you overeat -- Each of us has our own eating environment: some eat in front of the TV, others in a sports bar. Cut down on whatever situation or hobby which gets you to overeat.

    6. Become busier -- Having too much free time leads to overeating. One way to help yourself lose 100 pounds as fast as possible is to reduce the amount of free time you have. Join a voluntary organization, pick up an old hobby, get some books from the library, whatever you like. Just keeo busy.

    7. Eat healthy -- If you want to lose 100 pounds, you need to cut down on the useless calories that you eat. Cut down fried food, fast food, alcohol, white carbs, and processed sugar. Eat more vegetables, fruits, healthy fats like olive oils, and lean protein like chicken breast or turkey. You may also want to start shifting your calories. Just by doing that you might accelerate your weight loss and achieve your 100 lbs weight loss mark faster.
Eat only one major meal and the rest is a light meal...then do some work out. And most important stay away fom the table.
cut out sugar completely , cut down on salt, drink plenty of water (cold water), eat only whole wheat bread, never eat junk, eat lots of weggies and fruits. exercise for 30 mins everyday.
