I am thinking about moving to Georgia from Milwaukee any advice? Kind of scared b/c this is all i know?

Im not familiar with the state at all, and don't have any family that live there neither. I'm looking for a better opportunity for me and my child. Any advice you can give would be helpful. I really want to know how is the cost of living, nice areas to stay, how are the job opportunities and things like that!I am thinking about moving to Georgia from Milwaukee any advice? i live north of milwaukee about 20 miles


cost of living is average- you can find a decent apartment for around $600


you do NOT want to live IN milwaukee but all around is very nice!

Don't listen to Molly M, she is a moron who is extremely racist toward Armenians. I don't know what her problem is. Armenians are very loving people and she judges our whole race on a few bad eggs she's met. I have a friend who lives in Greenville, Georgia, and he loves it there. Like every state, there are going to be some bad towns and some good. Google crime rates in Georgia and move to the city that has the least.
It depends on where you are moving. I lived on the southwestern coast of GA. I didn't like it at all, to much drugs and and violence. However it is really nice on the east coast. If you move to a place like Savannah it is going to be Beautiful, it also depends if you want to live in a woodsy area or an area that snows.
It is cold and dark most of the year. It is probably just now spring time there. And winter will arrive in August - about the time the kids go back to school.





I lived in Cleveland for a few years. I hated the cold, the snow, the darkness.





You might not be happy there if you hate the cold and dark. Just my opinion.
stay away from armenian communities there...unless you like getting robbed and raped.
